The above video represents the first in a series of video slideshow presentations I have created of my watercolor work for YouTube. I recently read a statistic that indicated that nearly 30 percent of all Google searches are for YouTube videos. It seemed foolish to not take advantage of the enormous marketing potential that exists via YouTube and hence my video project began. Believe it or not, the process was incredibly easy. I used a free program called "Windows Live Movie Maker" on my PC, simply drug the images to it's main screen, selected the program's auto-movie mode, and away I went. I added simple title and credit screens and then began to seek out appropriate music to accompany the video. I ran across a great site of music which allowed for YouTube video usage via a Creative Commons license and fit the length of the slideshow presentation to the length of the audio. I have two more videos that I will post on this blog soon. Enjoy the show!
